Equipment
Every photographer has a preference for their choice of equipment; mine is Canon. I only use Canon professional DSLR's and my cameras of choice at the moment are an EOS20D and an EOS5D Mk2.
Similarly with lenses, the general rule is that an image is only as good as the lens; with this in mind I use mainly Canon lenses and occasionally Sigma. I dont go anywhere without my trusty 100-400mm Canon USM. This particular lens has been worth its weight in gold when it comes to taking pictures with no tripod or means to steady the shot. The built in anti-shake mechanism has proved itself again and again! There are two images in particular in the TIGERS portfolio that were taken whilst trying to balance between two Suzuki SJ jeeps, with the lens fully extended. The front jeep was moving slightly whilst the second was nudged by an elephant. Even with these "interuptions" I managed to get a few shots with no camera shake.
